Salsa D'lite Kizomba Nights
In addition to out monthly party nights, Salsa D'lite also holds quarterly Kizomba nights at the Sports and Social Club in Danbury. These nights are dedicated to Kizomba and Semba with a little Zouk music thrown in for good measure!
Originating in Angola, Kizomba is the term for both a dance and music style. Developed from Semba it has several variations including Terraxinha and Urban Kiz. Both Semba and Kizomba are social family dances and danced everywhere from back gardens to clubs and even in the streets.
Already popular from Portugal to Brazil, Kizomba has only recently grown in popularity across the UK, and whilst you may find it played at other Clubs, Salsa D'lite are proud to be be the only Club currently in Essex to bring you a night solely focused on this beautiful style.
There are no classes on these nights, just three hours of partying to the best music, brought to you by our resident DJ Paul Louis. (Who knows a thing or two himself about Kizomba!)
